Central Machine Works

‘CHUM’ was our inaugural gallery show. On view at Central Machine Works in Austin, Texas in June of 2021, these works were made during the universal whiplash of 2020. Through a number of techniques — painting, photography, and collage — we explored the mandate to look inward in the middle of a parade of chaos. This was our attempt to tease out some beauty from the fray, or, in other cases, to complicate simple scenes of tranquility.
